Inspection and Monitoring of the Work Performance of the Bar Association Delegates and Secretaries in Kampong Speu Province, Preah Sihanouk Province, and the Preah Sihanouk Court of Appeal, Including Inspection of Lawyers’ Rooms in Prisons. On May 7 and 8, 2026, Attorney SAING Vannak, President of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, assigned Ms. Attorney KE Chhardaphas, Head of the Department of Legal Aid for the Poor, together with accompanying delegates, to inspect and monitor the work performance of the Bar Association delegates and secretaries stationed in Kampong Speu Province, Preah Sihanouk Province, and the Preah Sihanouk Court of Appeal. They also inspected the condition of the lawyers’ rooms in the prisons. The Head of the Department of Legal Aid for the Poor received and addressed the challenges faced by the delegates and secretaries and provided practical solutions to support the continuation of their work. On that occasion, the Head of the Department of Legal Aid for the Poor also conveyed the recommendations of the President to the Bar Association delegates and secretaries, urging them to pay close attention to providing legal services to poor citizens more quickly and effectively, in line with the leadership policy of the President of the Bar Association: “Together for the Prosperity of the Legal Profession.”
