Inspection and Monitoring Visit of the Performance of the BAKC Delegates and Deputy Delegates in Battambang Province, the Battambang Court of Appeal, and Inspection of the Lawyers' Room at Battambang Provincial Prison

On Thursday and Friday, 11th and 12th June 2026, Attorney SAING Vannak, President of the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia, assigned Attorney KE Chhardaphas, Director of the Legal Aid Department, together with accompanying delegates, to conduct an inspection and monitor the performance of the BAKC delegates and deputy delegates in Battambang Province and at the Battambang Court of Appeal, as well as to inspect the condition of the lawyers' room at Battambang Provincial Prison. During the visit, the Director received and discussed the challenges encountered by the delegates and deputy delegates and provided practical solutions to support the continuation of their work. On that occasion, Attorney KE Chhardaphas also conveyed the guidance of the President to the BAKC delegates and deputy delegates, encouraging them to maintain a high level of attention and commitment in providing legal services to underprivileged citizens in a more timely and effective manner, in line with the President's guiding policy: “Together for the Prosperity of the Legal Profession.”
